Happy Birthday, Lilly...

Gestern hatte Lilly Geburtstag {ich glaube, es war ihr 6.}...und da sie zur Zeit wieder Ferien bei mir macht, habe ich Ihr natürlich eine Extra-Portion Leckerli & einen schönen Matsch-Spaziergang gegönnt. Naja, sie steht zwar nicht so auf Matsch, dafür aber auf Stöckchenwerfen umso mehr.

Natürlich hatte ich dabei keinen Fotoapparat dabei. Dafür aber letzte Woche {das Wetter war einfach mal viel schöner...}. Und ich darf Euch verraten: gleichzeitig zu fotografieren und zu werfen ist nicht so ganz einfach...deswegen {ähem...wohl eher weil ich eine [lies mit triefender Ironie] so begnadete Werferin bin} ist der Stock auch im Baum gelandet...wo er ja eigentlich auch hingehört ;o). Ersatzweise hab ich Schneebälle geworfen, was Lilly unheimlich fasziniert...eben war da noch kein Ball und jetzt ist er da....und wieder weg, weil sie herzhaft reingebissen hat.

Yesterday it was Lilly's birthday {her 6th, I believe}...and since she's on holiday with me, I gave her some extra treats & a nice mud-walk...well, I think she isn't that much in to mud but she loves to fetching sticks all the more. Of course I hadn't got my camera with me...but last week {the weather was better anyway}. - I can tell you, taking pictures & throwing sticks simultanously isn't easy at all. This is why I threw the stick into the tree top ....where it initially belongs to {more likely because I am a exceptionally gifted thrower [read with NON-subtle irony]...well but it's my story so I'm stickin' to the first reason}. Alternatively I made some snow balls to throw...which fascinated Lilly...first there wasn't any ball and then...out of nowwhere there was a blall...and then again there wasn't because she decided to take a hearty bite ;o).

Ich habe mich auch ein bisschen um eines meiner WIPs gekümmert...der 8. Block des Designer Mystery BOMs lag in der Post und wurde gestern Abend auch gleich genäht.
I also looked after one of my WIPs ...the 8th block of the Designer Mystery BOM lay in my mailbox and I pieced it yesterday evening.
