Im letzten Jahr kam bei den QFs der Wunsch nach einem Siggy-Swap auf...neugierig wie ich war {ich hatte bis dato noch an keinem Swap teilgenommen}, h

Last year a siggy swap was initiated in a German quilt forum...and curious as I am {I hadn't done any swap yet} I signed up immediately. After some test blocks {ha! a minor understatement, I nearly had made half of the blocks...some of which you can see in the lower mosaic picture} and after buying a Pigma Micron pen {which I highly recommend both for signing blocks & tracing stitchery patterns!} I had a plan for the 35 siggies...: every stitchery should appear only once...and as I'm not that fond of totally random {it just isn't me}, I decided to group every 4 blocks with the same framing fabric....yeees, I know, the participants ended up with only one block of mine... but hey, this is how I am ;o).

Stitchery patterns of the blocks, numbering horizontally from the upper left to the lower right side:
2, 3 = Anni Downs (Hatched and Patched) 'A Family Gathering'
5 = 'Festive Dog' pattern by Helen Dardik (Orange You Lucky)
13,15,18,19,15,18, 27, 28, 31 = 'Blue Wrens Nest' (free pattern), 'Christmas Gift Bags', 'The Mouse House' (Homespun Vol 9.7) by Natalie Lymer of Cinderberry Stitches
30 = 'Merry Wrens' by Amanda Brooke
35 = Stitchery from an Australian Country Threads magazine (?, drawn free hand from memory)
6,9,12,17,20,23,24,31,32 = Tilda patterns/drawings from the Tone Finnanger books
1, 4, 7, 8 ,10, 11, 14, 16, 22 ,26, 29, 34, 36 = me ;o)
5 = 'Festive Dog' pattern by Helen Dardik (Orange You Lucky)
