friday fabric focus - {honeycomb}

Nothing but dots...I hope you aren't bored by now, but again I want to share my love of all things DOTTY...and some days ago, these yummy fat quarters of 'Honeycomb' by Kei Fabrics arrived from their journey across the globe. I ordered them from Amy's shop Badskirt when they were on sale...since I've spotted those Japanese fabrics I was so curious. I love, that there are positives and negatives. The fabric has a wonderful soft feel and are a little bit more lightweighted than, for example, the 'Bliss' dots, which are very similar...

Immer nur Punkte...ich hoffe, Ihr seid noch nicht allzu gelangweilt, aber jepp, heute gibt's wieder Pünktchen zu gucken (hehe, Zufall, dass einer meiner Lieblingskinderfilme 'Pünktchen und Anton' in der Verfilmung von 1953 {wenn schon, denn schon!} ist?).

Diesmal sind es meine kostbaren Fat Quarter 'Honeycomb' von Kei Fabrics, die in dieser Woche bei mir angekommen sind. Ich habe sie in Amys Shop 'Badskirt' bestellt...naja, seit ich sie vor einiger Zeit entdeckt habe, war ich einfach zu neugierig. Besonders schön finde ich, dass es die Punkte sowohl als Positive als auch als Negative gibt (ich sehe da weiteres Sammelpotential :) ). Die Stoffe sind wunderbar weich und ein bisschen dünner als z. B. die ähnlichen Punkte von 'Bliss'.
