I feel like I'm in a Fairy {Bunny} Tale....

{Für diejenigen, die nicht so gut/gerne Englisch lesen: sie schreibt, dass sie mir ein paar Zeitschriften schicken möchte, die sie doppelt hat und hat quasi dazu aufgerufen, dass auch andere mir welche schicken... die ersten 25 bekommen eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit von ihr.}
Much has happened since my last posting... a day trip to Dresden to stare at jewelry, a strawberry rush, a tomato plant who takes over my square inch garden, the Texile Art (Berlin) - I can't tell everything at once, but anyway, I'll have to find where to start...
It's been a short while when I commented on Anne's posting (Bunny Hill Design - you have to check out her beautiful patterns, particularly the snowman quilt...it's just adorable) which was about tidying up her stacks of magazines. Well, I said I was happy if I would have her problem ;o). Yesterday evening (night) she totally surprised me - I have to admit I'm nearly ashamed because I really didn't do anything to deserve this generousity...please, read yourself here >CLICK<
This morning I already had some comments by such nice Quilters. I really want to thank
Anne, Beth (she is working on Leanne's 'Ruth's Quilt' in beautiful rich brown colours), Erin, Jean, Karen, Jackie and Diane - to say it with Karen's words: Quilters and bloggers are the best! Thank you girls, you all made my day! I'm looking forward to explore your blogs and enjoy what you show us...;o)
Now my brain is working hard to think of an idea to give something back. I already have an idea...for all blog readers... Please, have patience with me as I'm a very slow worker and a deadline to meet (a little baby wanted to come in our world too early and her birth gift isn't ready yet). But if it comes out as I imagine, then I'm really looking forward to it.
This was part 1 of my catching up...

Take care, thank's for stopping by,
Julia

P.S.: On Saturday night I stitched a cute chicken by Ursula Schertz (Stick Design) as a sample to test her iron on transfers. Sweet, isn't it?

  1. Hi Julia! I am so excited to send you some magazines you might enjoy. Do you want them to be only quilting, or other things as well? I live in Henderson, NV, which you might know better when I tell you I'm 10 minutes from Las Vegas, NV!! I am a designer for 3 fabric companies, and a long arm quilter. I haven't started my own blog site yet, but I really want to! I have to find out the procedure. I just started a pattern company I call "Peddlecar Quilts"! I am excited. Anyway, so nice to meet you!!! PS--I need your mailing address!
