The icing on the cake

Wow, ich bin immer noch sprachlos. Das liegt wohl daran, dass mein Mund immer noch voll ist ;o)...

Warum? Ich wurde heute mit einem fantastischen Geschenk bedacht - und ich frage mich langsam, womit ich das verdient habe (geistige Notiz an mich selbst: Überleg Dir etwas, wie Du Dich für all das Gute, das Dir in letzter Zeit widerfahren ist, bedanken kannst). Heute Vormittag kam ein sehr, sehr lieber Freund vorbei und hat mir diese phänomenal leckere Eisbombe vorbei gebracht - und das nur, weil ich meine Prüfung so gut bestanden habe. Dieser sehr liebe Freund die dazugehörige genauso liebe Freundin haben alles in mühsamer Arbeit selbst gemacht...schade, dass es noch kein Geschmacks-Internet gibt, sonst könnte ich auf diesem Wege mit Euch allen teilen! (O.K., dann eben mehr für mich, hehe)
Das Krokant ist ein Traum (selbstgemacht!) und die kandierten Feilchen so etwas Besonderes...von dem leckeren Erdbeersorbet und dem Vanilleeis kann ich gar nicht sagen, wie gut es ist...*seufz*...
Ich habe auch gleich meinen DH (Dear Holly = Holger) gebeten, mir bei den Fotos zu helfen, damit das Kunstwerk würdig verewigt wird.
Ich kann eigentlich nur sagen, dass ich mich so geehrt fühle, so liebe Freunde zu haben...und dass ich ein absoluter Glückspilz bin, dass es mir so gut geht.

Wow, I'm absolutely speechless - perhaps because my mouth is still full ;o) Why? I've recieved a fantastic gift and now I wonder if I really deserve it (note to myself: think of a way to thank for all the good things that happened to me recently). Today a dear friend came to bring this phenomenal ice cream bomb - just because I did well in my exams. This dear friend and his just as dear wife created this piece of art completely by themselves...it's too bad, that there's no flavor - internet, otherwise I could share this with all of you (O.K., then there is more left for me...hehe) The nut brittle is a dream (self made!), the candied violets so precious...not to mention the strawberry sorbet or the vanilla ice cream...that's truly heaven! Naturally I asked my DH (Dear Holly = Holger) to help me with the pictures, so this gorgeous bomb is perpetuated worthily. I just can say that I'm so honoured to have such dear friends and I'm really a lucky girl... Take care and I hope your day is as bright as mine!
