Show & Tell Part IV

O-oh...schon wieder eine Woche 'rum...mea culpa, ich habe noch immer nicht die Zeit gefunden, mich um die Beantwortung Eurer netten Kommentare oder gar meine Blog-Runde zu machen {habe gerade die zweite Woche meiner neuen Stelle als Diplomandin hinter mich gebracht und nebenbei noch auf den Lilly-Hund aufgepasst...da war einfach nicht so viel Raum für Freizeit ;o) - dennoch gab's letzte Woche ein riesiges Highlight...ich habe Maike endlich persönlich kennengelernt. Mehr dazu später!}.

O-oh...again a week's gone by...mea culpa, I still haven't found time to answer your lovely comments or even visit all my favourite blogs {just started to work on my diploma thesis in a new lab and dog sitted Lilly...so there wasn't too much room for free time ;o) - but I had a blast to meet Maike in person...more on that later!}.
Aber bevor heute Nacht der April zu Ende ist, möchte ich Euch noch mein drittes Projekt für die OPaM Challenge zeigen, das eigentlich schon Anfang des Monats fertig geworden ist.
Aus den Resten eines Quilts, der wahrscheinlich mein OPaM-Projekt für den Mai wird {kleiner Hinweis oder doch eher Wink mit dem Gartenzaun: Sherri näht zufälligerweise den "gleichen" Quilt}, habe ich einen kleinen Tischläufer genäht. Da die Reste wirklich klein waren, habe ich sie absichtlich nicht begradigt...so oder so hatte ich maximal eine Nahtzugabe von 1/8" zur Verfügung.
But before April is over this night I wanted to show you my third finish for the OPaM Challenge which I actually finished some weeks ago.
I made a table topper from leftovers of another quilt which probably will be my challenge finish for May {btw, Sherri is doing the "same" project - hint, hint ;o)}. Because the scraps were really small I didn't squared (or rectangled) them up...either way, I had to sew them with just 1/8" seam allowance.
Naja, an dem "Reste-Runner" hab ich dann auch das Stippeln für den Baby-Quilt geübt und er ziert jetzt meinen Esstisch.

Well, I practiced stippling on my "Relic Runner" in order to be fit for the baby quilt I already showed you. Now it graces my living room table.
Diese Reste habe ich dann allerdings dem Mülleimer überantwortet ;o).

These leftovers I finally gave over to the bin ;o).
Da morgen ja Tag der Arbeit ist starte ich schon jetzt in ein entspanntes Wochenende. Ich hoffe, Eures ist mindestens genauso schön...!

Tomorrow is Labor Day so I have an early start into the weekend. I hope yours is great!
