I'm sad *sniff*. And I'm so annoyed with me...why? Because I didn't think! Last time I showed you a little sneak peek of a secret project...now I can show it, because it arrived - at least in parts! - at Kris . Only in parts, because I used rice to weigh down the pincushion...I didn't want to send her an unfinished present, which she'd have to fill & sew herself...but I didn't think of Australia's import regulations {have a look on Kris' blog which parts arrived}. I should have taken the money for the heavy parcel postage to pay a round of thinking...
Hmm...btw, that was my first finish for the OPaM Challenge for April...
Thanks for stopping by!
Don't forget to reflect on something that is important for you ;o)

Kris, I'm so sorry!
You can get the free pattern for the "Pincushion Organizer" by Elizabeth @ Oh, Fransson! at SewMamaSew's blog. I borrowed the idea of attaching the scrap bag with two strips to the bag from Stina (with her permission)...Hmm...btw, that was my first finish for the OPaM Challenge for April...

Bear Hugs! KRIS
ReplyDeleteCustoms is a funny thing, you never know what will cross their path and how they will deal with it. Not to worry, it wasn't your fault and your intentions were good. The gift is beautiful and I am sure the thought was the best part.
ReplyDeleteWell, who knew? I certainly wouldn't have known that. Darn it all -- it's a lovely gift anyway!
ReplyDeletewhat a beautiful present.............so sad customs took part of it......sometimes we forget about what is and isn't allowed when making presents to send overseas..........I am sure Kris understands.........don't be took hard on yourself.........
