Goal!

...no goal for Germany, of course, sewing goals, that is! ;o)
Yep, I already met one of my Charming Girls' Club bi-monthly goals...and made progress with the VM BoM (Block 7 is finished).

1. Blocks #7 of the 'Vintage Memories' BoM
It seems that my brain is sometimes just twisted...I sewed all of the star-units of the units together with the wrong side so I would have ended with a 4 pointed star something...
But it helped that my trusty sidekick, Mr. Sean Ripper, doesn't get unemployed ;o).

2. Center Block of 'Summer Wind' medallion quilt
I am quite pleased with the result. I wasn't quite sure about the fabric placement when I cut out the pieces for the center block...so I waited with cutting the other pieces of the quilt...if it went wrong, I could have used this as a table topper... I hope my mom likes it...

 Bye for now,
Julia

  6. Hey Julia! Love how your blocks are coming together. Oh ... don't you HATE it when you spend lots of time matching seams, making sure everything is just right ... then find you've done it all backwards and have to unpick!! Aaaarrghhh!! Can't wait to see your lovely quilt grow bigger! Bear Hugs! KRIS
