Oops, it seems there are some more things to show you (to be honest, there will still be some things I want to show but as I have to borrow DH's camera these will have to wait for another time).

(I have to admit that I still have my Christmas decorations on my dining table because I can't get enough of the combination of the table runner & the cake stand...;o) ).

Ja, ich habe immer noch einen Teil meiner Weihnachtsdeko auf meinem Esstisch, da ich einfach nicht genug von der Kombination des TableRunners und der Tortenplatte bekomme ;o).

And one of my  treasured birthday gifts from last year is this one - my friend Maike stitched this one for me & now it holds everything I need to stitch in the evenings on hand...

Eines meiner tollen Geburtstagsgeschenke vom letzten Jahr, das Maike für mich gestichelt hat. Inzwischen ächzt das Körbchen unter der Last meiner Utensilien für das gemütliche Sticheln am Abend...

FINALLY: Noah's Ark Stitchery BoM - finished!

ENDLICH: Noah's Ark Stitchery Bom - feddish!

It still needs some quilting stitches but it's bound - finally...I finished the binding on this this one in December 2009.

Es fehlen zwar immer noch ein paar Quilt-Stitche, aber das Binding ist - endlich - dran (seit Dezember 2009).

What do you do when you're frustrated with a quilt you're piecing - right, start another one (I need to improve on that habit...I really should, but I don't want to...heehee).

So, another December project...my 'Beach Quilt'...it's a pattern by Leanne Beasley of Leanne's House, 'Ruth's Quilt', but I added some of my own sketches for the stitcheries (to give the quilt a more 

beach-y/nautical theme, matching the 'Beach House' fabrics by Blackbird Designs, called 'Beach House'...I've done 18 of 35 stitcheries...a nice work for the evenings...

Und was tut man, wenn man mit dem aktuellen Projekt total unzufrieden ist? Genau, NOCH ein weiteres anfangen (sollte ich mir mal abgewöhnen...aber so richtig Lust habe ich nicht dazu...hehe).
So wurde ein weiteres Dezember-Projekt geboren, mein 'Beach Quilt' (Anleitung von Leanne Beasley, Leanne's House: 'Ruth's Quilt'; aber ich habe einige Stitcheries aus Tilda-Büchern genommen bzw. selbst gezeichnet, damit das Thema Strand/Meer besser passt...auch passend zu den Stoffen von Blackbird Designs, 'Beach House'.
Bis jetzt habe ich 18 von 35 kleinen Stitcheries fertig gestellt...bestens geeignet als Abend-Beschäftigung.
