Moda Muslin???

I need advice! While going through my stash I realized that I have (nearly) no neutral background fabric...a while ago I came across an online quiltshop, Fabric.com, which offers 10 yds. bolts of moda muslin. Does anybody have ever used moda muslin? Is the quality comparable to the bella solids line they have? The only information they give is that it is 45" wide, lightweight cotton fabric.
I want to use it for a simple 2 fabric quilt (ehem, somwhere in the future) etc. ...
I'm grateful for every tip you can give!!!

Thanks for stopping by,
Julia

  2. I haven't used Moda Muslin...but I've seen it in shops and have been thinking about getting some. One of my favorite shops sells it all the time...they are always ordering more.

  4. I find Moda muslin to be rather too loosely woven. If you want a really nice muslin, I'd be tempted to ask at the shops if they can get in ecology cloth for you. It is a fabulous muslin to work with! If that fails, P&B makes a nice one as well.

  5. I've used Moda muslin and liked it. But everyone has there own taste in the muslin. Maybe order a piece first and give it a try. Then you'll know what you like.
